Nadim Katherine Gamarra, PharmD

Hello world, my name is Nadim! Recently-graduated pharmacy professional. Peruvian American. Achiever at heart. I believe in always giving my best effort and that there are lessons to be learned in every venture. I am grateful for even the smallest victories, and I find happiness in the simplest things in life.

When situations get difficult, I come to terms with being overwhelmed and practice self-awareness to seek solutions instead. I have found my passion in pharmacy, and I strive to advocate for both our patients and our profession. If this sounds anything like you, this blog is for you!

After moving from Peru and overcoming language and cultural barriers, I realized that academics are one of my strengths and decided to seek success through my education!! I first attended New Jersey’s Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) where I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry. Then, in May, 2023, I earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at Saint Joseph’s University.

I owe all of my achievements to perseverance, a passion for learning, self-awareness, and holding myself accountable. But above all, I strongly believe that we should NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS.

This project started with a vision of sharing my experiences as a working student in order to reach or inspire other individuals. Over the years, and as I gain more experience, the website has evolved to include clinical and professional development topics. When we exchange ideas, we expand our circle of influence and can innovate together. When we gain knowledge, we should use it to empower those around us!!
